Financial Director (m/f/d) Renewable Energies

We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Director (m/f/d) Renewable Energies to ensure smooth financial operations for both our Operations & Maintenance and our Project Development activities. In your new role, you will be reporting to the Managing Director for greentech UK and working closely with the existing accounting team in Milton Keynes as well as the accounting and controlling teams in the German headquarter.

Your tasks:

Ensure correct and continuous accounting, controlling, quarterly reporting and cash management for the holding entity as well as for the SPVs containing projects in development and building stages
Create, monitor and update yearly as well as quarterly budgets, forecasts and specific financial indicators
Drive financial planning and retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position tracking performance and identifying risks in order to prevent problems
Support with funds raising strategies with investors / banks for financing of projects in ready-to-build stage
Manage the creation of annual financial statements
Oversee all audit and internal control operations
Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidance

Your profile:

Proven experience as Director of Finance or similar role
Certified Accountant or equivalent qualification (CIMA, ACCA)
Multiple years of experience in accounting and controlling functions, ideally in a project development organization
Good working knowledge of Navision preferred, ideally Business Central
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-growing, international environment
Excellent Englisch communication skills
Interest in renewable energies sector and current market trends
