Country Manager (mfd) Italy

greentech is a growing company developing utility scale Photovoltaic (PV) plants with a focus on European markets. With a portfolio of more than 800MW and over 300 systems under management, greentech is one of the largest independent PV service providers in Europe. As a project developer, we take care of all the aspects of the process, grid, land, planning, technical and commercial tasks related to the development of solar power plants. We are looking for a committed Country Manager (m/f/d) in Italy to strengthen our team.

• You represent greentech projects as the local Managing Director in the development of large-scale ground mounted PV projects in Italy
• You originate business by identifying, contacting, and building relationships with local PV project developers
• You manage relationships with landowners, PV project developers, co-development partners and authorities
• You negotiate cooperation agreements in cooperation with the Hamburg based management
• You are responsible for commercial, technical, legal, tax and financial evaluations of PV projects in cooperation with other greentech departments
• You take over building a team to develop and manage PV projects: Identification and securing of land, management of the permitting process with relevant authorities and securing the grid connection
• You are the interface to other greentech departments involved in the project development

• 10+ years of experience in business development and/or project development of utility scale solar energy projects
• Successful track record of projects and a good network within Italy
• Commercially skilled, experience with licencing and permitting procedures
• Willingness to travel frequently
• Degree in renewable technologies, engineering, business administration, geography, law or similar
• Confident appearance, strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the overall development team
• Extensive project management experience and professional use of MS Office
• Excellent Italian and English or German language skills
