IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

greentech is an integrated PV specialist. Founded in 2008, our scope of activities now comprises project development of PV plants and battery energy storage systems as well as planning, building and operation of PV plants in selected European markets. We offer further services in the areas of quality assurance, yield maximisation, financing and electricity marketing. With a team of more than 200 people in Germany, the UK, Ireland and Italy, greentech manages a portfolio of over 1 GW in operational management, has realised almost 130 MWp of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems and has its own project development pipeline of over 8 GW. In addition, we develop investment structures for a substantial proportion of these assets for institutional investors.

In order to support the colleagues in the UK office on site and the central IT in Hamburg remotely, we are looking for a motivated part-time (16 to 24 Hours / week) IT Support Technician in Milton Keynes. Your main tasks will include first and second level support (on site as well as for the colleagues working remotely), onboarding off new users and supporting the central IT team remotely in projects relating to user management, IT security and various other areas.

• Administration of the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environment in the UK
• Be the first point of contact for approx. 30 users
• Troubleshooting and analyses of malfunctions or other appearing challenges
• IT Asset Management for the region UK
• Onboarding of new employees by preparing new hardware and taking care of software deployment
• Administrate and support the local infrastructure including network, telephone system, server and clients
• Support the central IT department in Hamburg remotely and the business in developing new solutions, projects and daily maintenance tasks
• Create and maintain IT documentation and user manuals

• Successfully completed training in the field of IT, covering all basics necessary to provide hardware and software support
• First professional experience in a comparable position
• Good knowledge of the Windows environment (client and server), Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
• Highly reliable, team-oriented and structured way of working
• A high degree of responsibility and ownership
• Business fluent in English
